The highest skyscrapers

From year to year megacities compete in construction of “Babel towers”. For example, on March, 30th, “Tokyo Midtown” tower has been opened in the Japanese capital. An architectural masterpiece- 248 meters in height -is the highest building in Tokyo. In the new center tourists can not only do shopping and to eat tasty food in 130 shops and restaurants of the tower, but also (at desire) to lodge in it.

Legendary towers-twins “Empire State Building” - 449 meters in height- is on the fifth place. However, the fifth position hardly will afflict the building which has become tourist Mecca. And before the construction of towers of the world shopping center “Empire State Building” was the highest building in New York. However, after their falling “Empire state Building” has again became the leader.
And till the end of 2007 the construction of a building of the World financial center in Shanghai, to which the palm tree of superiority among all skyscrapers will pass, is planned.
